Even with the theme or requirements, it’s best to match the theme with something you will be comfortable in.
  • Familiarize yourself with the venue. It can be the stage, the seating arrangements, room size and other setup of the venue that will help you or distract you during your speech. When you’re doing a virtual speech, you will need to familiarize yourself with the app or equipment such as the controls: mute button, video buttons, switching between apps or menus on your laptop.
